Algorithm Optimization & Performance Analysis
Engineered and benchmarked two approaches for finding prime numbers from binary substrings. Optimized primality checks to improve performance by 90%.
I’m Md Mahbub Rahman, a Software Engineering student at the University of Greenwich. I enjoy turning complex problems into elegant solutions, with interests in algorithms, software architecture, and data pipelines.

01 — Selected projects
A couple of projects exploring algorithm performance and the systems behind data workflows.
Engineered and benchmarked two approaches for finding prime numbers from binary substrings. Optimized primality checks to improve performance by 90%.
Researched and documented how Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) in Apache Airflow automate and optimize data workflows in production environments.
02 — Experience
Assist with troubleshooting software issues for the student application portal, diagnosing problems from user reports.
Designed a reporting system with Excel and Python (Pandas) to track daily sales, delivery orders, and customer feedback.
Managed event logistics and coordinated teams to set up and take down infrastructure for large ceremonies.
03 — About & education
I like working through complex problems and finding a clear, practical way forward.
I’m building my foundation in software engineering at the University of Greenwich. Alongside my studies, I’ve explored algorithm optimization, data analysis, software support, and workflow automation. I learn by getting hands-on, measuring what works, and improving from there.
